      • Mile Gully High School - History

      • Founded in 1998, Mile Gully High School is a co-educational secondary institution located in the cool hilly slopes of North Western Manchester. Serving approximately 40 communities, Mile Gully High School is the only high school in its constituency. 

        In 1974 the Ministry of Education added grades 10 & 11 to the institution as an experiment. This experiment was a success and Mile Gully Comprehensive High is now Mile Gully High School.

        In partnership with the community and other stakeholders, we are committed to educate and train young people in an environment conducive to working and learning to be worthwhile citizens. We seek to attract, retain and develop a competent cadre of workers who will enhance the academic, social and technical skills of our students towards the achievement of excellence.

         

        VISION STATEMENT

        The Mile Gully High School is an “A” grade school in teaching and learning, with highly motivated stakeholders and well rounded, disciplined students who achieve academic success.
