      • ISSA School Boy Football

        Season Year 2023-2024

        By words from thier coach, Mr Ashanti Mullings, "The M.G.H.S male football team kick started their ISSA school boy football competition on September 13, 2023 and ended on November 15, 2023. The team was able to defy the odds throughout the competition, as we qualified for the second round for the first time in 5 years. MGHS did not just qualified for the second round of the competition but by toping zone G, the team then made progress from the round of 32 to the round of 16 and also the Ben Francis Cup which was the first time in the school history we were playing in this competition."

         

        Though we continue to defy the odds, we were not able to pull through to pass our zone in the 2024-2025 season. 

      • Netball

      • Coach Marlon Hibbert started 4 yrs ago with these girls and where vert successful in the Issa school girl netball making it all the way to the Quarter finals in 2023 and to semifinals and third place finish in 2024.

        In 2025, they competed in the Florida Classic Netball Tournament where they immerged as winners in the under 16 competition and overall champions for the tournament.

          Play Day Jamaica is an annual national observance, typically held in early February that promotes unstructured play fostering creativity, social skills and learning in children. Championed by UNICEF Jamaica and the Ministry of Education, it encourages schools and parents to embrace play time for healthy development.
